Savor Specialty Foods was established in Atlanta, Georgia in 2004 by January and Robert Hodgson. We are passionate about fine foods, a unique and interesting product mix, and customer education. At Savor, we don't sell anything unless we taste it first. This allows us to explain product application as well as flavor profiles to our customers. We encourage you to ask questions and sample before you purchase. Our retail store has doubled in size during the last few months and we are excited to present artisan cheeses cut to order as well as the ability to create custom cheese trays.
January Hodgson spent seven years in the specialty food retail business working from entry level sales to a position as buyer and manager of a successful retail store. Six years in boarding school in Ireland combined with European travels have given January a unique perspective and exposure to many fine foods. She has managed to translate this into an eclectic retail environment that is decidedly European in feel.
Robert Hodgson has made the leap from corporate Geologist to the world of retail. He spent seventeen years traveling through the Western United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and New Zealand managing projects for both private industry and the U.S. government. After getting married, Robert and January decided to combine their worldly experience to create Savor.
